This years 3 way interclub race will be hosted by Kenilworth Runners. 7pm start from the Great Western Pub, Deppers Bridge, near Harbury. Food at the pub afterwards.

Pub Run

This weeks run will be from a MYSTERY PUB in Kenilworth. A cross country ramble between 6 and 8miles led by Dawn Clark. Bring your off road shoes if you have them.

At the Bourton 10K, Mike Ellis continued his recent run of form with a club record time of 35:10 followed by Trevor Wilkinson 36:51, Carolyn Wilkinson 39:58, Dawn Clark 41:54, Rich Sykes 43:34, Michelle Clements 43:51, Claire Hinton 44:55, Bethan Gwynn 45:50, Amanda May 47:18, Kate Evans 51:23 and Jude Baum 51:46. Chris McCarthy finished 2nd in the 3rd Coventry Parks Run in a time of 18:21 and Richie Merrill took 4th place in 17:43 in the 4th Run in the same series. At the Bath Half Marathon, Steve Atherton took 5 minutes off his PB to finish in 2:13:10 and for the 2nd consecutive year, just 1 second separated the 1st 2 Striders home in the Gloucester 20, Lucy Burnett just pipping John McNally in 2:38:36 with Pete Schofield and Helen Tudge finishing in the same time of 2:57:58, a PB and age category club record for Helen.

Striders next Beginners and Improvers session will be on Tuesday March 16th at 7:00PM from Leamington Lawn Tennis and Squash club with a choice of 2 or 3 mile runs accompanied by experienced club runners
