Interclub Race September 9, 2010 (19:00) This years 3 way interclub race will be hosted by Kenilworth Runners. 7pm start from the Great Western Pub, Deppers Bridge, near Harbury. Food at the pub afterwards. Club Night September 10, 2010 (18:00) An easy paced run led as usual by Terry Sensible Sunday September 12, 2010 (09:30) 12 mile run to Leek Wootton Golf Course & Hatton. As usual, the pace will be sensible. This is LSD; Long SLOW Distance. Enjoy a weekend lie-in, our anti-hangover start time is 9.30am. See you all outside the Striders clubhouse this Sunday. Abingdon Marathon race report by Darren Gillman.

I forgot to tell you off my latest exploit last weekend....

While some where glamming it up in Amsterdam, I was doing the far more local Abingdon marathon. And to keep a long story short, having cramped at 23 miles what was going to be a 3:40ish time became 3:46:40, 7 seconds slower than my PB. Like Amsterdam, there are lots of online photos - about 15 of me, including some comedy finishing ones! If anyone is really bored and wants to hunt them out, I'm number 28!
