This years 3 way interclub race will be hosted by Kenilworth Runners. 7pm start from the Great Western Pub, Deppers Bridge, near Harbury. Food at the pub afterwards.

Pub Run

This weeks run will be from a MYSTERY PUB in Kenilworth. A cross country ramble between 6 and 8miles led by Dawn Clark. Bring your off road shoes if you have them.

Striders were out in force at the recent Rugby 15K with Mike Ellis leading the way in 56:06 for 5th place followed by Trevor Wilkinson 59:59, Richard Brangwin 61:53, Carolyn Wilkinson 65:08 (3rd female), Rowena Neunhoffer 66:06, Vicki Smith 68:11, Mick Barrott 69:01, Richard Bicknell 69:24, Cecilia De Suiza 70:17, Darren Gillman 71:11, Nadine Fleckenstein 72:06, Dawn Clark 73:22, Jo Hawkins 74:03, Neil Butcher 74:03, Sean Lonergan 74:23 and Kate Evans 78:19. Striders Ladies claimed 1st and 3rd place team prizes with the men grabbing 2nd place. At the initial running of the Wedgnock Hills and Spills 10K near Ilmington, Jo Hawkins was first lady when the leading group took a diversion at the 8K point to end up doing 12K in total in a time of 65:49. Richard Shephard 45:42 and Tim Cole 55:51 completed the race without mishap. On a wet day, Richard Shephard also completed the Stevenage Half in a time of 90:01. In very different hot conditions in Venice, Martin Blazeby in 3:32 and Jenny Gilpin 5:00 made their marathon debuts in an event that saw over 900 of the original starters drop out en route
