This website and the connectMyClub app are provided by Arden:Twenty (trading as connectMyClub), a company registered in England and Wales with number 10922374, whose registered office is at Accountancy House, Priory Road, Kenilworth, England, CV8 1LL. By using this website or the app you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree to them, please do not use this website or the app.
Who this website is for
This website and the connectMyClub app are provided to clubs and their members as a platform for managing club membership, communications and related activities. Your club decides which of its members and officials may access it, and for what purposes.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity carried out using your account.
- You must give accurate information when you register or update your details, and tell your club if anything changes.
- We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these terms, or at your club's request.
Club data and your data
The club that runs this website is responsible for the membership data it collects and how it is used; connectMyClub processes that data on the club's behalf. This is explained further in our Privacy Policy, linked at the bottom of this website. Payments for memberships, events or shop purchases are handled by Stripe and/or GoCardless under their own terms.
Acceptable use
When using this website or the app, you must not:
- use it for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, data or system, or interfere with the operation of the service;
- upload or share content that is abusive, defamatory, infringes someone else's rights, or is otherwise inappropriate for a club environment;
- use any data accessed through this website or the app for a purpose other than that for which it was made available to you.
Intellectual property
The connectMyClub name, logo, software and website design are owned by Arden:Twenty or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our permission. Content that belongs to your club, such as its logo, photos and text, remains the property of your club.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep this website and the app available and working correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the service, or these terms, at any time. Where a change is significant, we will try to give reasonable notice.
Liability
We provide this website and the app with reasonable care and skill, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of them. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Ending access
Your access to this website and the app ends when your club removes you as a member, or when your club's use of connectMyClub ends. We may also suspend or end access for breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

connectMyClub Privacy Policy
This website and the connectMyClub app are provided by Arden:Twenty (trading as connectMyClub), a company registered in England and Wales with number 10922374, whose registered office is at Accountancy House, Priory Road, Kenilworth, England, CV8 1LL. This policy explains how personal data is handled when you use this website or the app, who is responsible for it, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data
There are two parts to this.
- Your membership data. The club that runs this website decides what membership information it collects and how it is used, so the club is the data controller. This includes your contact details, date of birth, emergency contacts, any health information you choose to give, and your membership and payment records. connectMyClub stores and processes this data on the club's behalf as a data processor, under a written agreement and only on the club's instructions. The club's own privacy statement, linked at the bottom of this website, explains how it uses your data.
- Running the website and app. connectMyClub is the data controller for the limited technical data needed to run, secure and improve this website and the app, as described below.
Data taken out of connectMyClub by your club
Club officers can export or copy member data from connectMyClub, for example as a spreadsheet, printout or screenshot, to enter races or run sessions. Once data leaves connectMyClub, the club is responsible for it. We ask every club to explain how it handles this in its own privacy statement.
What connectMyClub collects as controller
- Technical data when you visit this website or use the app, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and times of access. We use this to keep the service secure, fix faults and understand how it is used.
- Login and security records, such as when you sign in and changes made to your account, so we can protect accounts and investigate problems.
- Anything you send us directly, such as a support request.
- Cookies, as set out in the Cookie Policy linked at the bottom of this website.
Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working service. Where cookies are not strictly necessary, we only set them with your consent.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run connectMyClub, each acting under contract and only for the purpose stated:
- [Hosting provider name], which hosts our servers in [location].
- Postmark, which sends email on behalf of connectMyClub and your club.
- Stripe and GoCardless, which process membership and event payments. They also handle payment details under their own privacy policies.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as [the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement]. You can contact us for more detail.
How long we keep data
- Membership data is kept and deleted in line with your club's instructions and its retention policy.
- Technical logs are kept for [30 days] unless needed to investigate a security issue.
- Support correspondence is kept for [2 years].
How we protect your data
We use encrypted connections, access controls and an audit trail of changes to protect the data we hold. Access to member data inside connectMyClub is limited to the club officers your club authorises. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at high risk, we will work with your club to tell you without undue delay.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal data
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted in certain circumstances
- restrict or object to how your data is used
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it
These requests are free and we will respond within one month. For your membership data, please contact your club first, as it decides how that data is used. We will help your club respond. For anything else, contact us at hello@connectmy.club.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first at hello@connectmy.club. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and keep you updated on the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way we handle data changes, and show the date of the latest version below.

Spa Striders Running Club Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Spa Striders Running Club ("the club", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use this website or get in touch with us. We are committed to handling your information fairly, lawfully, and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
This website and our club membership systems are provided by connectMyClub, operated by Arden:Twenty. Spa Striders Running Club and Arden:Twenty are joint data controllers of your personal information:
- Arden:Twenty is responsible for your connectMyClub account and the personal information held on the connectMyClub platform, as set out in the connectMyClub Privacy Policy.
- Spa Striders Running Club is responsible for how the club uses your information to run the club, and for enquiries and orders you send to us. This policy explains that use.
You can contact either of us to exercise your rights, and we will work together to respond. How this website itself works, including cookies, usage data, security, and links to other websites, is covered by the connectMyClub Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy linked at the bottom of this page.
What information we collect
We only collect the information we need. Depending on how you use this website, this may include:
- Contact enquiries: your name, email address, phone number (if given), and the content of your message when you use our contact form.
- Shop orders: your name, email address, order details, and any notes you add when you buy items from our online shop. Card payments are handled securely by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
- Membership: if you join the club, we hold the details you give us when you register, such as your name, contact details, date of birth, emergency contact details, and any information needed for governing body affiliation.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiries;
- process and fulfil shop orders;
- run the club, including managing memberships, training sessions, events, and club communications; and
- meet our obligations to our governing body, insurers, and the law.
Our lawful basis
We process your information on the following lawful bases:
- Contract: where we need it to provide your membership or complete your order;
- Legitimate interests: where it is needed to run the club and respond to enquiries, and your rights do not override those interests;
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or share information; and
- Consent: for optional things such as marketing messages. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where necessary with:
- Arden:Twenty, our joint data controller, which provides our website and club management systems;
- our payment provider, to process payments;
- our national governing body, for affiliation and insurance purposes, where you are a member; and
- other organisations where the law requires us to.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them. Membership and order records are kept for as long as you are a member, and afterwards only for as long as needed to meet our legal, insurance, and accounting obligations.
Keeping your information secure
Your information is stored on secure systems with access limited to club officials and volunteers who need it for their role. However, no transmission of information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights
Under data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your information;
- object to how we use your information; and
- ask for your information to be transferred to another organisation.
There is no charge for making a request, and we will respond within one month. To make a request, please contact us.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this website.
Cookie Policy
Spa Striders puts small files (known as 'cookies') onto your computer to collect information about how you browse the site.
Cookies are used to:
- measure how you use the website so it can be updated and improved based on your needs
- remember the notifications you've seen so that we don't show them to you again
How cookies are used on Spa Striders
We use Google Analytics software to collect information about how you use Spa Striders. We do this to help make sure the site is meeting the needs of its users and to help us make improvements, for example improving site search.
Google Analytics stores information about:
- the pages you visit on Spa Striders
- how long you spend on each Spa Striders
- how you got to the site
- what you click on while you're visiting the site
We don't collect or store your personal information (for example your name or address) so this information can't be used to identify who you are.
