Dan Robertson parkrun Challenger Cup
In memory of our friend and clubmate Dan.
After years of suffering with PSC, Dan received a Liver Transplant in Feb 2023. His trademark resilience and determination inspired us all, and his ambition to win the inaugural Parkrun Cup was at the heart of his transplant recovery. Tragically Dan was diagnosed with terminal cancer just months later, and died in January 2024 before the Cup was completed.

A fun, friendly competition where you and a club mate go head-to-head, racing to beat your handicap time by a larger percentage than your opponent.

Run at any parkrun, anywhere in the world.

"It's a great competition and a lot of fun!"

"This is a fantastic idea!"

"Rather than being disappointed at being nowhere near my PBs I’m now pleased at beating my target times instead, which is a much more healthy attitude."

"Let the sandbagging begin"

"I’m not happy with my base time"
